SUMMARY:

In a context of new technologies and complex approaches determined by events of a historical future, it seems essential to propose a new approach that understands the object, and in particular the accessory, that allows to overcome the predominant functionalist model.
It is in the transition from a mechanistic model to a systemic model, an interesting notion of system, which reinforces the idea of a network where objects are related in a complementary and interdefinable way. Through complex systemic thinking, it is possible to advance the study of accessory design from a relational structures approach.
We will start from an accessory configuration as an object that entails a linkage, that is, a relational object, and as such integrated into a construct: accessory = body + object + space.
This project has among its main objectives conceptualize the objects-accessories in the apparel design field, challenging the notion of "field" seeking to generate a turn of concepts towards a model of thought based on the modeling of the organization of the world of design object.
